The famous quote of “dog is man’s best friend” is accurate when it comes to Louis! Louis is always by Matt’s side whenever possible. Most clients know that Louis comes to work with Matt every day. In the morning, when Matt wakes, as he gets ready for the day, he is right by his side to ensure that he doesn’t miss his opportunity to come to work. It is very hard to get him to eat breakfast because he thinks he will miss Matt leaving for work while he eats. Louis eats lunch when Matt goes home for lunch or his wife comes to pick him up then.
Louis is a well behaved dog. Matt walks him off leash, though he has selective hearing at times (Matt says “just like my kids!”). He spends most of his time, at work, right by Matt’s side or welcoming our guests. He seems to think that everyone comes to the office to visit him and no one else. Our office mail lady is one of his favorite visitors (mainly because she spoils him with treats every day).
At home, Louis is wonderful with the kids. He usually gets his workout once we get home by playing with the kids. He then ends up sleeping at the foot of Matt and Rachel’s bed. They feel very blessed to have him as a part of the family!
